Here at The Green Room it is our aim to provide a personalised service, know all of our student’s names and give the individual attention each student needs, while at the same time helping to bring  positive change to each individual through the Principles of Pilates.

All of our classes are kept intentionally small and are divided by student ability and experience level in order to ensure the attention to detail required to practice the Pilates Method correctly and safely.

All teaching will adhere to and attempt to, stay true to Joe Pilates original teachings, intentions and vision while at the same time intelligently adapting exercises in the Classical Method to fit the students rather than vice versa.

Whether teaching a private, semi private or group classes we endeavour to teach exercises which are relevant to the student’s individual needs, activities and lifestyle all from within the framework of the Classical Method providing the student with a challenging, enjoyable and invigorating workout.

The teachers goal within a class is to teach the exercises within the Classical repertoire emphasising the 6 Pilates Principles, teach correct postural alignment to ensure that all movement is performed precisely, harmoniously and safely, all conducted in a non-competitive, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
